Plant a Tree

Plant one native British tree today and support reforestation in the U.K.

We create woodlands all over the country, for the benefit of biodiversity and carbon sequestration. Our woodlands come in all shapes and sizes, planting on unused parts of farms, parks, wedding venues, hotels, motorway embankments, degraded land we've purchased; basically anywhere our ecologist thinks would benefit from reforestation.

To make sure our woodlands are successful we never "plant and walk away". Protect Earth team members will regularly check in on saplings, run maintenance sessions, weeding, replacing any saplings that fail, and manage our woodlands in the long term, whether its on our own land or in partnership with other owners and organizations.

Project details

• Funding these trees supports the creation of woodlands that would otherwise never exist.
• We source of saplings from British nurseries, with all saplings being safely and responsibly grown in the UK.
• Planting is done under the watchful eye of our ecoligst, who is making sure the work is done to a high standard and according to his plan.
• We carry out regular audits and review survival rates, so we can replace saplings that didn't make it.
• This tree product does not count as a carbon credit.

What you receive

You'll get an email with a certificate, which will contain:

• The species that was planted.
• The What3Words location of the planting.
  
• A certificate can be downloaded and shared on social media, or gifted to a loved one.

We'll try and plant your tree as soon as possible, but due to planting season being October to April there may be a delay in your tree actually being planted after it's been funded. Funding our trees before they're planted helps us order our trees in advance, making sure we have enough good quality local stock ready for a busy planting season. Your certificate will be sent out as soon as its planted so you know where it is.
